The theme for this half term is Deforestation, and we will also be completing a recycling project to support the local environment.
In Geography, we will be using globes and digital/ computer mapping to locate countries and describe features studied. In Art, we will be looking at famous artists and improving mastery of art and design through a range of materials. In English, we are continuing our focus on current affairs and issues around the world. We will be enjoying 'Why the Whales Came' by Michael Morpurgo.
In Maths, we are expanding our work on measurement using money. We will then move onto decimals.
As we move towards half term, we will be looking at how to get the wider community involved in fundraising for key issues affecting the world today.
Year 4 have worked extremely hard this year which means they have been awarded 10,000+ Dojo's.
Year 4 will be enjoying a second class trip in the Summer term. The children have chosen to go to Lazer Tag.
Reading and spelling is sent out on Wednesday and is due back in the following Wednesday .
Maths is sent out on Friday and is due back the following Friday.
