In Phonics we have been learning our digraphs and recapping single graphemes. We are now amazing at remembering capital letter, finger spaces and full stops for sentences.
In maths we have been learning addition and subtraction with numbers to 20 and have moved onto 2D and 3D shapes.

Super 7 Spellings - Every Friday we will have a quiz of the new set of 'Super 7 Spellings' in the children's blue or purple books. These are updated on Monday and revise the sounds that the children have been working on in the previous week.
Golden time - On Friday if the children have filled the treasure, they are free to choose how to spend their golden time, such as a film in the afternoon or bringing a toy from home.
Special Days - Our special days this half term have been, pancake day where the children have made their own pancake pictures with toppings covering the topic of healthy eating. Mother's day has also been celebrated where the children have made some beautiful cards.
